    I KNOW WHAT WE ARE

    Exploring themes of existentialism and transformation, I know what we are tells the story of Charlie, barely existing in the darkness of his bedroom, alone but for music, finding his voice is his driving force. Meeting Cornelia, they embark on an adventure through the city, a lifetime within one night. Helping Charlie with his own metamorphosis, triggers a cosmic event, both fulfilling destiny and sealing a nihilistic fate.

    Whilst struggling with his addiction to alcohol, Ben Dean turns to the dark side to find sobriety and solace. Dean's spiritual journey and quest for a higher power leads him down an unexpected path where he becomes an inspiration to others, leading them on their own left hand path to sobriety and spiritualism.

    After suffering a debilitating stroke and losing his wife to cancer, Nils, a 78 year old from Lier, Norway, embarks on a 750km journey to order the Breakfast of Dreams from a café in Germany that he and his wife used to visit together.
